This section provides an overview of my teaching activities, as well as the supervision and mentoring experiences I have been involved in.

Ice-core science (2025)

Invited lecturer
In this 2-hour lecture, I provided students with an overview of ice-core science, including the analytical strategies and instruments commonly used for ice-core analysis. The lecture was divided into the following sections:
- Glaciers and ice cores: What are glaciers and ice cores? How is an ice core drilled?
- New frontiers in ice-core analysis: How are ice cores analysed? Inorganic and organic species; target and non-target approaches.

University of Copenhagen (ICAT PhD School)

In this 2-hour lecture, I presented the latest advances in analytical chemistry applied to ice-core science. The lecture was divided into the following sections:
- Old and new challenges in analytical chemistry for ice-core analysis;
- Orbitrap: a game changer in the analysis of environmental samples;
- Non-target screening in ice-core analysis;
- Future applications.
Atmospheric Chemistry (2021-2024)

As part of the Atmospheric Chemistry course, I prepared and delivered one lecture on atmospheric organic aerosols, with a focus on their classification and chemical characterization.
Earth’s Climate (2017-2018)

Teaching assistant.
As a teaching assistant, I prepared and delivered additional lectures for students and contributed to the preparation of exams.
This course focused on past, present and future climate change, drawing on the most recent studies of palaeoclimate archives such as marine sediments and ice cores. The course reviewed the main techniques used to study climate and discussed recent findings in the field. It also addressed the interactions among different components of the climate system, including the atmosphere, ocean, land surface, biosphere and ice sheets.

I also served as a mentor in the Mentoring Programme of Alma Mater Camplus, where I supported two recent Master’s graduates in defining their future career paths after graduation. The mentoring sessions mainly focused on guiding them through possible academic pathways, including PhD opportunities, research careers and the transition from university to professional life.
